MCT Thoughtful Thursday

Hello! It's Thoughtful Thursday over at MyCreativeTime. Thoughtful Thursday is when we create cards with a thoughtful message. I started by die cutting my card front with the Vintage Stitched Label Dies. I made a "window". I embossed it with dots for some texture. I created that rainbow patterned paper strip with lots of 1/4 inch scraps. I popped up that panel.
I stamped the greeting from the All Around Everything set. I added a glossy accents covered heart to the center. Finished by adding a few gems. :)

PeachyKeen Challenge

Hello! It's time for another PeachyKeen Challenge! This time we have the above sketch to follow. For my card, I flipped the sketch and turned that circle into a rainbow. :)
I started by stamping the fabulous Cloudy Day background on patterned paper with Soft Pool Shadow Ink. Then I stamped and paper pieced that cutie rainbow from the February 2012 set. I used mostly papers from the Walk in the Park collection from Echo Park. Bright and happy colors. :) I stamped that sweet star from the February 2013 set. The face is from the Sweet and Silly Face Assortment.
The greeting is from the With A Cherry On Top set. I added rock candy stickles to the clouds for sparkle. Well, that's my card. I hope it didn't blind you. ;)

You're so special to me

Hello! I have been taking the Pattern Play class this week over at OnlineCardClasses. It has totally reminded me how much I adore patterned paper! I've even used paper that I've just been hoarding because I like it so much. For this card I used papers from the Splash collection by Echo Park. I paper pieced the cutest ducky ever from the Duck Dolls set from PeachyKeenStamps. I used the scraps to make that patterned paper strip on the side of the card. Too cute not to use every little piece! :)
The greeting is from the Year Round Sentiments set by Hero Arts

I have 2 others cards in progress right now...SO INSPIRED! Yay for classes!

Cupcake Card

Hello! Today I have a card made using PeachyKeenStamps and fab ribbon from ReallyReasonableRibbon. They have TONS of great ribbons and trims at fantastic prices. You can check out their store HERE. I stamped and paper pieced the cupcake from the April 2012 set. That adorable face is from the March 2013 set. Then I created my double stamped background. :) I first stamped the Celebration Background in lime pastel chalk ink. Then I stamped the What Time Is It background over top of it with black ink.
Now that ribbon...to die for! LOVE! Gorgeous chevron striped twill HERE comes in lots of yummy colors! I got the 3/4 inch width. IN LOVE! Seriously! :)

I hope you're have a PEACH of a day :O)

3D Wednesday

Hiya! It's 3D Wednesday over at MyCreativeTime. I made a simple easel card using patterned papers from the Hello Luscious collection by Basic Grey. I used the Stitched Scallop Heart Die Set for the hearts. I glued the first one to the card and popped up the other two. The thanks greeting on the heart is from the Chunky Jar Accessories set. The inside greeting is from the So Grateful For You set. I stamped it with Tide Pool Hero Arts Shadow Ink.

Rainbow Hello

Hello there bloggy buddies! :) I decided to play with Hero Arts goodies today so I can enter their contest this month. I started by stamping the Zig Zag Background in black. Then I stamped the Hello greetings from the Hooray set in Hero Arts Shadow Inks. I used Pale Tomato, Orange Soda, Butter Bar, Green Hills, and Tide Pool.
I wanted to pull those colors to the bottom, so I created a strip of diagonal stripes. I used the flag pole from the Hooray set to stamp the stripes. I added some gems and called her done. :)

I hope you're having a fabulous day!

I white heat embossed this fabulous greeting from the Our Mothers set from PinkByDesign. This is a really simple card, but I dig how it turned out. And I definitely made my 10 minute deadline! :)

MCT Thrifty Thursday

Hiya! It's Thrifty Thursday over at MyCreativeTime. We are using up scraps n such and making sure our project has green on it somewhere. I started by creating a background on my card base using the Bloom Where You Are Planted set. I stamped the flowers with Hero Arts shadow ink in Green Hills. I filled it in by stamping the tiny circles from that same set in Tide Pool shadow ink. I have had those butterflies on my table FOREVER, and decided they needed to get used! :) I stamped them with the polka dot stamp from the Coffee Break Stamp set using that Green Hills ink again.
I stamped the greeting from the Floral Sentiments set with Tide Pool shadow ink. I embossed above and below it with the Swiss Dots cuttlebug folder. I added bling to the butterflies with my i-rock tool.

Head over to Emma's Blog to see more creations. Have a fab day!

PeachyKeen Release Party Challenges!

Hiya Peachies! Here is my card for Challenge #1 at the PeachyKeen Connection. The first challenge is to use embossing, either dry or heat. I chose dry embossing. I stamped and paper pieced the adorable new bunny from the Somebunny Special set.
The greeting is also from the new Somebunny Special set. SO CUTE! And here's the card I made for Challenge #2 which is hosted by lil' old me. :)
Challenge #2 is to either use a background stamp, or create your own background with stamps. I stamped and white heat embossed the fantastic new Grandma's Bathroom Floor background stamp. I wanted to rainbowify it, so I broke out my distress markers. I used a light and dark shade of each color. Lighter color on the outside, darker in the middle of each row. I used 12 different markers.
After I had it all colored, I spritzed with a mix of perfect pearls and water for some shine. The greeting is from the new set called Baby Easter Bunny

Please pop over to the Peachy Keen Connection to play along with us!
