New Moon ATC's

hmmmm do i have any fellow "twi-hearts" following me? i am OBSESSED with all things twilight related...in fact i'm currently re-reading new moon! LOVE IT!!! i was invited to participate in my first swap ever over on scrapbook.com...and these are the first ATC's i have ever made...and boy is it fun to do! i used some cool techniques on my ATC's...for instance i used Glossy Accents on their eyes to make them pop, and i love how it looks! i also tried glitter embossing powder for the first time, and i think i may now be obsessed! LOL well i just thought i'd share these with ya...i'm off to look for images for my next ATC swap which will be the "bad guys" from New Moon.

have a fantastic day!

How Ya Bee

this was a fun card to make! i really think it turned out cute! i cut the bee with my "pooh and friends" cricut cartridge at 3 inches...i ran the black and yellow papers of the card base through my cuttlebug on the "honeycomb" fiskars embossing plate...then i adhered that cute chunky rik-rack (thanks mom!)...and then i just did a whole bunch of doodling...tfl! ;o)

p.s. my kitty Jinxy is such a good "helper"! ;o)

Swing

i just LOVE these photo's of baby me in this cute swing! i used Basic Grey's "lemonade" line for this scrapbook page...i'm not entirely thrilled with this page, but here it is anyway...i used my Tim Holtz "grungeboard" for the title...i simply painted the letters with my colorbox ink...if you haven't tried grungeboard yet, get some! it is soooooo COOL!!!

hope you're having a great day!

4 card from 2 sheets of patterned paper!

hello and happy tuesday peeps! i got this paper line from michaels a while back and felt like playing with it, and here are the results...this line is Making Memories "sabrina" collection and it's super girly and pretty!!! for the two cards that are inked and distressed i cut scalloped circles with my cricut to make the flowers...i just cut them and then crumpled them up and inked them...then layered them and this is how they came out...I LIKE THEM! super easy and waaaaaaaay cheaper than store bought flowers!

the "mosaic" card is loosely based off a card over on the christmas with the cricut blog...go check them out! www.cricutchristmas.blogspot.com the butterfly stamp is from a set by Martha Stewart and i LOVE that set!!!

the remaining card was super simple too...not too much to say about it...ran the black paper at the bottom through my cuttlebug in my "houndstooth" embossing folder...cut out and pop dotted a pretty rub on and voila...card done!

well thanks for taking a look! i hope you have a great day!

scraptastically yours...Nikki

Monkey Birthday Card

hi everyone! i used my new "sweethearts" cricut cartridge on this card to show that it is NOT just for lovey/wedding use only!!! it has some ADORABLE images on it!!! i just put this card together pretty quickly, and i think this lil' monkey is just the cutest thing ever! i cut the monkey at 3 3/4 inches and then cut the shadow out of lighter brown craft paper...the present is also on the "sweethearts" cartridge, and it might be my favorite present on any of my cartridges! anyhoo, i cut the present and all it's layers at 1 1/2 inches...pop dotted the monkey and gift...i ran my background paper through my cuttlebug in my happy birthday embossing folder...it is core'dinations cardstock (has a color core) so i sanded the embossed areas to achieve this look...I LOVE CORE'DINATIONS!!! it is SOOOOO COOL!!! then i added the ribbon and voila...card done.

hope you have a great day!

this card opens like a regular card, yet can also sit easel style for display...all you do is cut your card base 4 1/4in by 11in...score at 2 inches and score at 5 1/2 inches...(ok that sounds a little complicated...just watch the video!) LOL

i cut the cute lil' snow people using my Winter Woodland Cricut cartridge...i cut them both at 4 1/2 inches...the patterned paper is from a christmas stack by "the paper studio" and the glitter cardstock is DCWV the glitter stack...all other cardstock is "coredinations" which i am falling in love with!!! it cuts like butta in my cricut...and gotta LOVE the colored core...(see how cool it looks ripped for the snow under the snow people!)

ok i'll stop rambling now...i hope you have a fabulous day!!!

i'm bananas about you (10th anniversary card)

hello! my husband and i will be celebrating our 10th anniversary on thursday!!! i can NOT believe it has been 10 years already! ;o) i used my most recent cricut cartridge purchase for this card...i cut the monkey's from "New Arrival" at 4 inches on multi-cut because of the thickness of the glitter paper...just a pretty simple card, but i LOVE it! and i hope my dear hubby does as well.
